My novel Taken has some specific topics I think relate to faith. One of the main discussions in my book is about this huge accident between an air balloon and something unknown. The police are not sure what crashed into the air balloon because there is really no evidence but everyone saw the fire and some debris. One of the main characters Kate thought it was aliens. There was no evidence that this was cause by aliens but it was something she strongly believed. Faith is something that can't be proven and this was something that couldn't be proven.

Chels,
Your book sounds very suspenseful! I wonder if you find out at the end of the book what that "unknown" thing is. I'm sure this book really gets your mind thinking. Why did Kate (haha) think it was aliens that crashed into the air balloon? Faith is belief that is not based on proof. You said there was no evidence except for some fire and debris so noone can prove what caused this and faith can't be proven either, so the two definitely correlate.
Thanks Kristen, Kate thouht it might be aliens because when she heard the crash she saw a bunch of very bright lights and an unknown object so I guess with all of that she just used her imagination and assumed it was aliens. So far this book is really good though.
